Noriko Ueda  bassist/composer/arranger
Originally from Hyogo, Japan.
After graduating the Berklee College of Music in Jazz Composition major (1997) relocated to Brooklyn, NY.
She has performed, toured and recorded with various groups as a sideman, also she leads “Noriko Ueda Jazz Orchestra” and "Noriko Ueda Trio" which performs her original compositions and arrangements.
“ARTEMIS” debut album is coming out in the fall 2020 from Blue Note Records.
Touring Japan with Ted Rosenthal Trio 11 consecutive years.
She released her first leader trio album “DEBUT” .(2015)
Performed for the track for Macy’s July 4th fire works event, included a big band piece she arranged for the DIVA Jazz Orchestra. (2014)
The winner of the BMI Foundation/Charlie Parker Jazz composition Prize.(2002)
